Why We Built This Site
Nebraska makes much trial-court information available through authorized electronic access, but Rock County cases still divide between county and district court. A Register of Actions is the event history for a case, while a certified document must come from the clerk who maintains the original record. The site brings those routes together without claiming to be the record holder.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal docket searches and civil docket searches work in Rock County
- Court dates and settings: how to use Rock County court dates and verify a hearing
- Case lookups: how a case lookup uses party names or case numbers in JUSTICE
- Record requests: how court record searches lead to plain or certified copies from the clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Nebraska court, clerk, or state agency. There are firm limits to what it can do:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
